This is a 230mm x 280mm emery sheet designed for manual sanding, deburring and finishing of metal surfaces. The sheet uses natural emery (an aluminium oxide-rich mineral) bonded to a flexible cotton cloth backing, making it suitable for hand use, sanding blocks and small finishing tools where conformity to contours and edge work are required.

The abrasive is supplied in a range of FEPA/ISO P-grits (for example P80, P120, P240 and finer), allowing selection of aggressive cutting or finer blending and polishing stages. The backing is a cotton/cloth type that offers good tear resistance and stretch, with a resin bond that secures the emery particles while permitting even wear. Sheets are available in both dry and oiled finishes for improved lubricity and resistance to loading when working with ferrous materials. Manufactured to recognised coated abrasives standards (for example EN 13743 and FEPA/ISO grit designations), these sheets meet industry expectations for dimensional tolerance and grit classification.

Typical applications include removal of rust and mill scale, paint and corrosion spot repairs, smoothing welds, chamfering edges and final blending before painting or coating.
