The 12mm x 95mm Epoxy Acrylate Capsule is a two-component, spin-in glass chemical anchor used to secure M12 threaded bar, studs or bolts into concrete, brick and natural stone. The capsule contains a separate epoxy acrylate resin and hardener in a sealed glass tube; when the capsule is broken and mixed in the drilled hole the cured resin forms a bonded sleeve that transfers loads from the fastener into the base material.

Each capsule contains an epoxy acrylate formulation selected for good adhesion to mineral substrates and for dimensional stability once cured. The product is intended for use with standard metric M12 threaded rod and anchors (compatible with BS/ISO metric threads), and is typically used with carbon steel (galvanised) or stainless steel fasteners; compatibility with A2/A4 stainless grades makes it suitable where corrosion resistance is required. As a glass capsule system there is no separate mixing gun required – the capsule is simply inserted into the hole and the threaded bar spun in to allow mixing and placement.

Typical applications include structural and non-structural anchorages such as balustrades, handrails, base plates, facade fixings, mechanical plant, and heavy machinery mounting. It is widely used across construction, civil engineering, restoration work and architectural stone fixing where secure anchorage in cracked or non-cracked concrete and solid masonry is required. The resin’s cured properties provide good load transfer over the embedment length and resist cyclic and shear loads when installed to the manufacturer’s guidance.
