This product is a 13mm internal diameter wire mesh sleeve designed to be used with injection resin (chemical anchor) systems to contain and support studs or rebar during resin anchoring. Its primary use is to allow reliable anchorage in hollow, perforated or cracked masonry and in situations where a contained resin column is required around a 10–12mm diameter stud or threaded bar. The sleeve is supplied as a 1000mm length to suit through‑depth anchoring or to be cut to size on site.

The sleeve is manufactured from welded steel wire and is finished by hot‑dip galvanising to BS EN ISO 1461 for general corrosion protection. For applications where enhanced corrosion resistance is required, stainless steel variants (AISI 304 / EN 1.4301) are available on request. The sleeve has a nominal internal diameter of 13mm to accept studs in the 10–12mm range; it is a passive, non‑threaded containment component and therefore has no head or drive type. It is intended for use with approved injection resin systems that comply with ETA/ETAG requirements for bonded anchors.

Typical applications include anchoring threaded studs for balustrades, handrails, façade brackets, mechanical plant, and fixings into hollow blocks, perforated brickwork and masonry where a conventional mechanical anchor would not achieve full contact. It is also widely used in civil and structural repair work, M&E installations and where retrofit anchors are needed in substrates with voids.
