The 20mm x 160mm Epoxy Acrylate Capsule is a single‑use, spin‑in glass chemical anchor designed to create a high‑strength bonded connection between threaded rods or studs and base materials such as concrete, brick and natural stone. The capsule contains a two‑component epoxy acrylate resin and hardener separated by a glass tube; insertion and rotation of the spin‑in capsule breaks the glass and mixes the components to form the adhesive bond in situ.

The capsule body is glass and the adhesive is an epoxy acrylate formulation selected for good adhesion to mineral substrates and steel. It is intended for use with metric coarse threaded rod/studs (ISO metric threads), commonly M12 to M30 depending on the anchor system and load requirements. The chemical anchor system should be specified and installed in accordance with ETAG/ETA (EAD) guidelines and national standards such as BS EN 1992 where relevant to structural design and installation.
