This product is an 8 mm x 90 mm resin internal socket designed to provide a factory-made female thread when used in chemical (resin) anchor installations. It is intended to be placed into a drilled hole filled with structural resin so that, once cured, the socket creates a reliable M8 internal thread for fixing bolts, studs or threaded rod where a blind or internally threaded anchor is required.

The socket is manufactured from carbon/mild steel and supplied with a zinc electroplated finish to BS EN ISO 4042 for general corrosion protection. The internal thread is ISO metric (M8) with the standard coarse pitch of 1.25 mm, conforming to the ISO metric thread profile (ISO 68‑1 / ISO 261 family). The body is a plain tubular insert with a length of 90 mm to give appropriate embedment depth in masonry or concrete; there is no external head and no drive recess, as the part is positioned and retained within the resin rather than tightened by torque. The component is supplied as part of the RCITS08 range and is compatible with common chemical anchor systems that meet ETA/ETAG acceptance criteria when the correct resin and installation method are used.
