The M12 Hole Cleaning Brush is a twisted-wire cylindrical brush designed to clean drilled holes prior to the installation of chemical anchors, adhesive fixings and mechanical anchors. Its primary use is to remove dust, drill slurry and loose particles from boreholes so that resin and adhesive anchors achieve full contact with the base material and attain the specified bond strength.

This brush features stainless steel wire filaments, typically AISI 304 (A2) as standard with AISI 316 (A4) available for more aggressive or marine environments, conforming to BS EN 10088. The wire is wound around a central twisted-wire core and formed into a compact cylindrical head sized to match a nominal 12 mm bore. The brush is supplied with an M12 male metric thread shank, manufactured to ISO metric thread form (ISO 261 / ISO 965), to screw directly into M12 threaded driver rods or adaptors for rotary cleaning. The finish is natural stainless steel, providing corrosion resistance during storage and on-site use.
