This product is a 1/4 inch square drive ratchet designed for turning 1/4" sockets and accessories in confined or precision applications. Its primary use is to provide a compact, reversible drive for tightening and loosening small fasteners where access and control are important, such as on engines, instrumentation, HVAC work and general maintenance.

The ratchet is manufactured from chrome vanadium (Cr-V) steel with a corrosion-resistant chrome plated finish to resist rust and chemical exposure in workshop environments. The head uses a 1/4" square drive with a quick-release button and a reversible pawl operated by a thumb lever to change direction without removing the tool from the fastener. A fine-tooth mechanism (typically 72 teeth) gives a small swing arc for work in restricted spaces. The handle is ergonomically shaped with a partly knurled or textured grip for positive control when working oily components.
