This product is a 3/8in x 1/4in parallel reducer bush, female-to-female (F x F), designed to adapt a 3/8in square drive tool to accept 1/4in square drive sockets or accessories. Its primary use is to allow compatibility between different square drive sizes on ratchets, torque wrenches and pneumatic or electric power tools when a direct socket of the required size is not available.

The reducer bush is manufactured from heat-treated chrome vanadium (Cr-V) steel for strength and wear resistance and is finished with a bright chrome plating to resist corrosion and ease cleaning.
