This 3 tonne load sling, 5 metres long, is a synthetic round lifting sling designed for lifting, slinging and positioning loads where a lightweight, flexible and non-marring lifting medium is required. Its primary use is vertical and multi-leg lifting in factories, on site and in workshops where a rated working load of 3.0 tonnes is needed for safe handling of components, machinery and materials.

The sling is manufactured from high-tenacity polyester (PES) fibres with a protective outer sleeve and sewn core construction. It conforms to EN 1492-2 for round slings and is supplied with a permanently attached identification label showing the working load limit (WLL), length, batch number and CE marking. The stated WLL of 3.0 tonnes applies to a vertical (0°) lift; users must reduce capacity for basket, choked or angled lifts in accordance with EN 1492-2 load tables. Polyester material gives good resistance to water and general atmospheric corrosion compared with steel alternatives and retains strength across the typical operating temperature range for synthetic slings.

Typical applications include plant installation and maintenance, construction site lifts, warehouse handling, transport loading, marine rigging and general workshop use where contact with finished surfaces must be avoided. The sling is compatible with standard lifting fittings such as hooks, shackles and spreader beams; its soft, flexible body reduces the risk of damage to painted or delicate surfaces compared with wire rope slings.
