The 500mm H6 Type Mixing Paddle is a powered drill attachment designed to blend mortars, tile adhesives, screeds, plaster, paint and other viscous construction compounds. Its H6 helix blade geometry promotes rapid, low-splash mixing and good vertical flow, making it suitable for preparing batches in buckets or mixing vessels where consistent, lump-free material is required.

Manufactured from heat-treated carbon steel (EN 10025 S235 conventional grade) with a durable powder-coated finish, the paddle is built to withstand torsional loading during heavy mixing. The shank uses a standard ISO metric M14 x 2.0 thread (ISO 261), allowing secure fitting to most drill chucks and M14 quick-change adaptors commonly used on mixers and cordless drills. The 500mm overall length gives a practical working depth for typical 10–20 litre containers while keeping the operator clear of splash.

In use, the H6 head type creates a controlled vortex and reduces trapped air compared with straight auger paddles, which helps when blending cementitious materials and two-part resin products. The paddle is intended for use with variable-speed drills or mixing motors; users should disable hammer function and run at low to medium speeds to avoid material aeration and protect the tool. Welds and joints are reinforced to resist fatigue under repeated loading.

Typical industries and applications include general building and construction, tiling, rendering and floor screeding, landscaping, and maintenance workshops where regular preparation of adhesives, fillers and mortars is required. The combination of heat-treated steel and corrosion-resistant coating gives good service life on site, while the M14 thread ensures compatibility with the majority of UK and European drill/mixer fittings.
