These 6mm staples are wire-formed U‑profile fasteners intended for light to medium‑duty stapling tasks, supplied in a box of 1,000. The primary use is to secure thin materials—such as upholstery fabrics, foams, felt, light timber mouldings, insulation, cable clips and general workshop joinery—into softwood, plywood, MDF and other composite substrates using manual or T‑type hand staplers and many light‑duty staple guns that accept 6mm leg length staples.

Each staple is formed from low‑carbon mild steel wire and finished with a zinc plating (electro‑zinc) to provide basic corrosion resistance in interior and sheltered environments. The staples have a 6mm leg length; crown width conforms to common industry dimensions for light‑duty staples so they are compatible with Draper and similar hand stapling tools. Thread, head and drive types are not applicable to these staples because they are formed wire fasteners rather than machined screws.
