A bag tie twister is a simple hand tool designed to grip and twist wire or plastic ties securely closed around bags, sacks and small bundles. Its primary use is to form a tight, neat twist in a tie so that bags used for produce, bakery goods, refuse, floral arrangements or packaging remain sealed without knotting by hand.

This tool is manufactured from drop-forged chrome‑vanadium (Cr‑V) steel, heat treated and tempered to provide durable jaws and long service life. It is not electrically insulated and therefore not rated to live‑working standards such as BS EN 60900.
