Handles are glass‑fibre reinforced nylon (PA66‑GF) with a soft TPE overmould for grip comfort. A replaceable coil spring and a sliding safety lock are fitted for user convenience. As a hand tool, this secateur is designed in accordance with recognised UK and international recommendations for hand‑held cutting tools (DIN/ISO/BS good practice for hand tool design and safety) and is supplied compliant with UKCA/CE marking requirements where applicable.

Typical applications include horticulture, landscaping, nursery work, viticulture and light arboriculture where branches up to approximately 25mm can be progressively cut using the ratchet stages.
