The Draper Tools siphon pump (DR43650) is a hand-operated transfer pump designed for quick, controlled movement of liquids without the need for power. It is primarily used to extract and transfer fluids from drums, tanks, jerry cans and reservoirs where pouring would be awkward or risky, providing a simple, portable solution for maintenance, workshop and on-site tasks.

The pump body and piston are moulded from chemical-resistant polypropylene (PP) and polyethylene (PE), while the flexible delivery hose is reinforced PVC with a nominal internal bore of approximately 12 mm (3/8 in). Seals and valves are made from nitrile rubber (NBR) to give good resistance to oil, diesel and many petroleum-based liquids; the outer finish is a smooth, injection-moulded surface for easy cleaning. This unit has no threaded fittings or drive head; connection is by tapered hose ends suitable for use with standard drum and can spouts. It is manufactured under Draper Tools’ production controls and the materials comply with REACH and RoHS where applicable; as a simple hand pump it is not subject to specific DIN/ISO fastener standards but follows good-practice industrial material specifications.

Typical applications include draining engine oil and gear oil during servicing, transferring diesel or kerosene from storage containers, emptying water from boats and bilges, and decanting coolant or washer fluid in workshops. It is also useful in agriculture, small-scale heating installations and for general workshop fluid handling where electrical pumps are not practical.
