This is a 15-piece Titanium Nitride (TiN) coated drill bit set intended for general-purpose drilling of metal, wood and plastics. The set is primarily used with hand-held and bench drills where longer tool life, reduced friction and improved cutting performance are required compared with uncoated high speed steel bits.

Each drill is manufactured from M2 high-speed steel (HSS) and finished with a thin titanium nitride (TiN) coating to increase surface hardness, reduce built-up edge and improve wear resistance. The bits are produced to jobber-length geometry in accordance with DIN 338 and equivalent ISO/BS jobber drill specifications, giving standard flute length and helix for versatile use. The drills feature a standard cylindrical shank compatible with keyed and keyless chucks and are supplied with a conventional 118° point angle for general-purpose drilling; selected sizes in some batches may include a split-point style to reduce walking when starting holes.
