This 300mm / 12" Stainless Steel Rule is a straight, rigid measuring rule intended for accurate linear measurement and marking tasks in woodworking, metalworking and general workshop use. It gives a portable, durable reference for setting out, checking dimensions and transferring measurements where a tape measure is impractical or finer graduations are required.

The blade is manufactured from AISI 304 stainless steel (EN 1.4301), providing good corrosion resistance in workshop and on-site conditions. The surface has a satin/matt finish to reduce glare, while the graduations are permanently etched and filled with black enamel for long-term legibility. One face is graduated in millimetres with 1 mm divisions and fine subdivisions for precise marking, while the reverse face carries an imperial scale in inches with fractional subdivisions suitable for conventional carpentry and engineering work. The rule is true-zero from the end, with no hook or tape head; thread, head and drive types are not applicable to this product.

Marking and graduation production follows standard practices applied to precision hand rules; the rule is manufactured to industry tolerances typical of BS and ISO tooling conventions for steel rules and measuring instruments, and its dimensions are compatible with DIN/ISO/BS scale conventions used in engineering and trade.
