This is an M10 x 1.5 right‑hand split die manufactured in high speed steel (HSS) for cutting or restoring external ISO metric threads on round bar and rod. The primary use is to form or clean M10 coarse threads with a 1.5 mm pitch using a compatible die stock; the split design allows fine adjustment of the effective cutting diameter for repair or tolerance correction.

The die is produced from M2 HSS (high speed steel) and is precision ground for accurate flank form and pitch. The tool is supplied with a protective coating to resist light corrosion in storage; as with all HSS tools it should be kept oiled when not in use. The thread conforms to ISO metric thread form and is suitable for components made to ISO/DIN/BS metric standards (ISO 68‑1 / ISO 261 / ISO 965 and DIN 13 / BS 3643 thread forms).
