This 14 mm x 1.75 RH HSS split die is an external threading tool designed to cut or repair M14 x 1.75 metric threads on shafts, studs and rods. Its primary use is forming ISO metric threads (right-hand) for general purpose fastening and repair work where accurate, repeatable external threads are required.

The die is manufactured from M2 high speed steel (HSS), hardened and ground for long tool life and consistent cutting performance. The split design features an axial slot and an adjustment screw that allows fine control of thread fit, making it easier to correct minor oversize/undersize conditions or to clean corroded threads.
